Where We've BEEN...
SALONF has a rich history. Founded by Fernando Ortiz, SALONF has always been one of the premier salons in the Lincoln/Omaha area. We have been located at 70 and A street in the Clocktower Center since 1970. Our experienced stylists are highly trained locally, nationally and internationally as well as three weekly, in-salon, training sessions. Tommy O, our director of education, has worked in film, television, fashion runway, commercial print, and at one of the top salons in Beverly Hills. His insight is the driving force behind SALONF designer education.

Our focus is and has always been with the needs of our customers as well as our staff. We have created a very rich environment that cultivates utmost professionalism with ground breaking education, and an absolute commitment to honesty and integrity. Fernando is truly the businessman with a heart. When you visit, you will notice the laughter and the love for one another that fills the air. It is undeniable. Where We're GOING...
At SALONF, we believe that knowledge is power. We currently hold three in-salon education and training classes for our staff weekly. These classes involve hairstyling, makeup theory & application, hair-color theory & application and styling product use & information. We also do on-line Skype consultations and lessons for our clients. We plan to expand these classes to the public at local community colleges and other venues. We also plan to host charity fashion events locally and regionally. We will keep you updated so keep your eyes and ears open…
